The Washington Informer is a family-owned business started by my dad in 1964. After matriculating at Howard U. where received a BA degree in journalism and a JD degree, I joined the WI staff and became publisher in 1994. My job is to tell maintain a news organization that shares stories about those who are making a positive difference in the DC area and beyond.
