Upcoming Opportunities
The 2020 Street Entrepreneurs Accelerator is designed to help you grow your business and solve problems that matter most to you. This DC-based program funded by the Mayor's Office is designed to help you sharpen your skills in sales, operations, finance, accounting, communications and marketing; connect with coaches and mentors; and build a community of potential business partners. The accelerator will begin in February, and runs run from Friday to Sunday as a tour each across each ward. Apply here - the first 20 to apply with code "BEACON" will receive free access. BEACON grant recipients are guaranteed acceptance into the program. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
Apply to pitch at Pipeline Angels Pitch Summit, an opportunity for invited women and non-binary femme entrepreneurs to present their for-profit social ventures for a chance to secure funding. Pipeline Angels serves as the friends and family round for entrepreneurs who may not have support at that critical stage, and since its launch in April 2011 has graduated over 300 members from their angel investing bootcamp, invested more than US$5M in 50+ companies. Ensure you meet criteria and apply by January 31.
